Tracheal tube:
The common intubation head has one or two cuff. After inflation, the cuff can play the role of fixing the intubation and sealing the airway, or it can not be equipped with cuff. The cannula body is usually made of polymer material, and steel wire coils are embedded in the body to improve the radial strength and axial flexibility. Part of the cannula body is made of laser resistant material or coating to resist laser irradiation. It is a cannula inserted into the patient's trachea through nose / mouth or skin. One end is connected with the anesthesia ventilator through the breathing pipeline to maintain the patient's breathing. Provided aseptically, disposable.
The distal end of the catheter is beveled.
The distal end is attached with a cuff like inflatable cuff.
The proximal end is provided with an adapter tube connected with the respirator.
The cuff is connected with the small test balloon by a thin tube to understand the inflation and contraction of the cuff and its inflation pressure.
Murphy side hole is located on the side wall far from the cuff at the distal end of the tracheal tube. Its purpose is that when the oblique mouth of the tracheal tube is stuck to the tracheal wall, the breathing gas can enter and exit through this side hole.
